Dumbbell bars are a must for your muscle building training at home. Dumbbell bars are a must for any strength training. Depending on the muscle, exercise or personal preferences, different dumbbell bars are often used. A distinction can be made here between dumbbell or barbell bars, hollow bars and solid bars (Olympic bars). The latter are used in Olympic competitions because they are slightly longer and more stable and can hold more weight.

One of the most effective exercises in strength training is the barbell squat. With this barbell exercise you intensively train all leg muscles and many other muscle groups. Grasp the barbell slightly more than shoulder-width apart and place it on your lower neck. Now slowly bend your knees with a straight back until your thighs are parallel to the floor. The knees point over the toes and the buttocks move backwards. Hold the position briefly and straighten the legs again.
